Combat sports aren’t just for ‘sporty’ people…

Teens, we know you’re tech savvy, speak your own mind and you’re most likely checking us out rather than your parents, so let's pretend they’re not reading this and have a chat about all things kickboxing and MMA.

We reckon one of two things brought you here:

Your friends do some form of MMA or kickboxing and you want to give it a try, or you have this deep, burning curiosity about it and wonder whether it’s a sport you’d enjoy.

Either way, we’re glad you’ve found us. So let’s try and convince you to join us, shall we?

Already convinced?

First of all, you don’t need any experience. If you already have some, great! But you’ll still be starting in our beginners class until we get to know you.

Kickboxing is self-explanatory (ahem… clue’s in the name - kicking and boxing). If you need a better explanation we’re sure you’re savvy enough to do an online search (unlike many adults, may we add).

MMA combines the techniques of Muay Thai, Taekwondo and boxing, so you’ll learn a broad mix of technical skills.

What to expect

Progression opportunities

Once you’ve been with us for a while and your skills are progressing, we’ll get you on track to start earning your belts. We run kickboxing gradings 3-4 times a year so there’s plenty of opportunities to show off your skills and get rewarded for your hard work.

There’s no grading for MMA, but you’ll acquire an impressive set of skills you can continually build on.

Some other stuff to convince you…

There are no egos here, just a friendly bunch focused on learning, pushing themselves and achieving great things.

We know your teenage years can be stressful to navigate, so we teach you the mental and physical discipline needed to help handle them. Achieving new skills will also boost your confidence and even get you feeling fitter and healthier (who doesn’t want that?).

Oh and we almost forgot, when you join you get a shiny new t-shirt to wear in classes with our name on it (well, what else did you expect us to put on it?!).

Are we winning so far?

Lets address any worries
you might have

“I’ve never trained before and I’m terrible at sports”

It doesn’t matter. Our classes teach you the very foundations of combat sports, which you can build on over time. You don’t need to be fit or have done regular exercise previously.

“I’m scared of getting hurt”

Don’t worry, you’re not about to get beaten up! We break down every movement and technique so it’s easy to understand. We’ll take everything at your pace, we won’t push you to do anything you’re not comfortable with.

“I’m shy/quiet/nervous and worried about getting on with the other teens”

We’re all about community here, we don’t accept big egos or bullying from anyone. Everyone is supportive of your fitness journey and we’ll support you through every class so you aren’t left to work anything out alone.

What the teens
think of us…

Ok, now it’s time to convince the ‘rents

Your parents need to know that you’ll be safe, looked after and that these classes will bring a huge benefit to your life.

Refer back to the above sections where we told you about teaching you mental and physical discipline, self defence, increasing your confidence and improving your fitness - oh and you’ll most likely make some friends along the way too!

We have a FREE trial experience where you and your parent/guardian can come along and meet us, speak to the coaches and have a look at the facilities.

You also get to join in your first class.

It’s basically try before you buy.

You just need to get a parent or guardian to sign up for the trial on your behalf and bring you along to the first class.

you’ve got a job
to do now

We haven’t asked much of you until this point.

Go and convince your parents to book you a trial and we’ll be waiting on the other side of this button to get you booked in.

We can’t wait to meet you.
